100% crop of a common robin. Not really a fan of the bokeh of this tamron lens in busy backgrounds. I had to calm it down a bit in PP.

Its pretty dark and composition is not working.Usually if you are that far away, the crop isn't going to be fabulous.I know.I have lots that I binned.

Agree the bird is a bit dark for me.

Flash would definitely help in getting those shadow details. I now use a Better Beamer on my 580 and initial results on robins have been encouraging.

Seemed to work fine on my 400mm + 1.3x crop... :confused: That is, with my Better Beamer, of course.
