Congrats Mike! Just be sure to check that trash can thoroughly before you dump it. Lol...

It's a wonderful feeling to capture BE images like that - to me, at least. :)

I really thank you Phil. Your comment are much appreciated.

Nice work, Mark. This shot is sharp, and stands out beautifully from the background.

Super shot of an impressive bird.

The ones you toss out don't matter!

Thanks so much, Archi. The ones I toss are quickly forgotten.

Thank you Sid. I know the bald eagles have made a major comeback here in the states. It seems to me that everyone's getting good shots of them except me. :-( :pI see a few eagles in my area, but never seem to be able capture a decent shot of one. I went out today, knowing that I'd get another chance at him, but he never showed. vmad Oh well, I just have keep after him, or her.

Mike, its an 8 hour drive if we want to see eagles :(
They are here locally but when you have 2 eagles in 1,000,000 acres, well you know the odds :)
We didn't make Conowingo this year/Poof wanted to do Bosque, but this next winter I plan on Conowingo again.

I know the odds Robert, but seeing so many beautiful eagle shots posted, you'd think that everyone just sits in their back yard, and shoots photos of them when the land in their trees. :p:lol: Truthfully, I love the challenge of trying to capture difficult targets. If this game of hunting with a camera were really easy, we'd all soon loose interest.

They are the same family, just a different branch.

This was an extremely lucky reflex action shot, as the Eastern Spinebill appeared out of nowhere and I just whipped around, pointed the lens and grabbed this single shot.:-)

I had the camera set up for flash photography in the (dark) rainforest so not the best settings. I could have done with a faster shutter and more time to compose the shot, but hey, the 5D Mk IV worked wonders.

Cheers

Dennis
