The chicks have hatched and mom won't put up with any bird getting too close. Here she bolted out of the nest, talons at the ready and chased a gull that was loitering away.

Interesting Bill. I've always heard that the a9 was a somewhat better all around birding camera, but man alive, you've certainly proved that not to be the case.
