Thank you Shalu. Wild mallards are one of the most commonly banded of all the ducks. It's probably because of their popularity among hunters.

Note: the EXIF info for my recent images shows "Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS". I'm actually shooting an FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. The POTN gear database needs to be updated.

Took some time and a lot of driving and hog but we finally were able to locate the snail kite. It was definitely a great adventure
