I think the Northern Shoveler drake has the most colorful wing of any of the North American ducks. . But the teal species have really colorful topsides, too.

What do you think?

Whoa...what a shot. It appears as though this guy ate a ball of twine, Shalu. :p:lol: I hope you didn't get hit.

A truly nice shot, Shalu. It looks like you could have reached out and touched her.

Thank you very much, Mike!

The A9 performs like a champ in good hands!
Had the pleasure to use it during one of my Costa Rica Workshops and I fell in love...but I´m loyal to Canon and I know they are coming back with some amazing stuff pretty soon...

I'm not sure just what he was asking, but I am sure he was not interested in making friends with me.

Note: the EXIF info for my recent images shows "Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS". I'm actually shooting an FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. The POTN gear database needs to be updated.

Well Peter you know how I feel about this capture! We again went to a known location on the east coast a couple of weeks ago. I did see them....2 miles away! So
again living through your lens.

:). Come up here Robert I would love to show around. This was from BC Canada. 2 hours away from me and I don’t mind driving you there.
