Northern Hawk-Owl. This felllow sits still for an hour and then without any notice flights away. Finally I was quick enough to catch one owl in flight shot.

Good job! The only owl in flight I have been fortunate enough to get was flying away at an angle at 6400 ISO. I keep dreaming!

Thanks bobobird and C Scott IV !! So many "almost there" shots earlier. But this challenge is one reason why I enjoy bird photographing.
