Purple martins are hard to photograph in flight. They move and dart around so fast.

^ either way, awesome capture. I tried shooting swallows once in a very public place. I image there were more than a few people laughing at me.

Moose, I am sure that would happen to most. Especially when you are cussing in what you think is under your breath.;) They humble you very quickly.

First attempt at BIF with my new 70-200 2.8 IS II :D It's so easy! Well, with these anyway  I have very little experience with BIF and with my Sigma 150-500 I struggled to get some great shots due to the lack of speed for initial acquisition. This is a ~2.5mb image. Yes, I added some vignetting (just for the sake of it :p)

2N10 & LV Moose, thanks. Well, I thought it was a martin, but I am just starting to getting into photographing and identifying birds. So I am bound to miss sometimes. Thanks for the help with the naming of this guy. They spread those wings like that when they are making a quick turn.

Thanks Abacus/John! (Insert Blind Squirrel finding a nut reference here)

Me and my 70-200 felt a little out gunned:
