Wow - you really get the impression that this bird is slicing through the air, at speed, with the streamlined profile and straight back - nice shot Mike.

Managed to score a matching BG too in terms of the buffs and browns.

Thank you very much, Dennis. He was definitely on the hunt. Right after I took this shot, I saw him miss a small bird that he was chasing. I'm always amazed at how fast a Cooper's hawk can move when it wants to.
