Next year I retire and we're moving to a mountain cabin we have.
Up there hummers come and dine on Beebalm....so maybe I'll have an opportunity then fingers crossed.

You're making ME jealous! A mountain cabin living would be a dream for me. All of my hummingbird photos are from my backyard. As I'm located in their migratory route in a suburb, I don't get many hummers stopping by. I've had to work hard to attract them to my yard, and now I have at least three of them making my yard their permanent home until it's time to migrate back south.

Many of these wonderful flyers in Texas right now. Feeding on insects before migrating to South America. These two frames from this morning, taken only 100 milli-seconds apart.
