Thats a beautiful flight shot Mike. Specially like that there is cloud in the background, adds a lot more to the image than just blue sky.

The mallard was gone for good.
It was a big surprise after 5 minutes on the ground, with a goshawk on the top.

Thank you Neal. My wife told me years ago that she liked the clouds in the background best with birds in flight. I agree with her, and try to shoot whenever we have broken cloudy blue sky days.
