Lame-Duck I have indeed had pine nuts More info | May 31, 2021 18:50 | #30965 amyandmark3 wrote in post #19242609 Thank you Mike! ![]() Great job on your Wood Duck below! I need to go back and visit my local WD's to try to get an in flight shot of one. The first/only time I visited them so far, I did everything I could to NOT make them take off LOL ![]() Nice job on this Swallow, too. I have access to a large number of them, but it in a pretty open area where they just buzz by me and I haven't been able to get one in good focus yet. Thank you for all the kinds words, Mark. They are much appreciated. With the wood ducks, it's best to figure out when they come to your spot, and be there waiting for them. With the swallows, I always try to find out where they are nesting. That makes it a lot easier to photograph them in flight. I have a couple of tree swallow nests that I watch, and I catch the parent birds coming and going. Other swallows nest under bridges, especially when they cross over water. Again, it's much easier to get good flight shots at these places. LD, or Mike
