They are really cool and charming ducks, Dave. They vocalize when they fly and it sounds like whistling, sort of, hence the name. There are a lot of them congregating at this spot right now. They nest here, too. The ducklings look like bumblebees and are cute as can be, I am sure I have some photos of them on this forum somewhere. Certainly on Flickr. Ed
