With Mississippi Kites nesting here (perhaps drawn north by the vast food supply provided by the Brood X cicada emergence), seeing flights is a daily experience. While trying to get some bifs, I learned that not only do the raptors catch them in the air, they eat them in flight.

nice work especially with the second image..the contrast and light picks up prey and hunter dramatically ..tfs
