Definitely different from the usual flight shots, Sid, but this image is quite appealing! Very nice work!

Many thanks Mike, your comments are always appreciated! :)

Great timing on that one! Where was this taken? It looks to me like you caught some Northern Rough-winged rather than Tree Swallows in this image. Even the females of the Tree variety should have some blue in the head feathers.

Thanks. Definitely tree swallows as the males where around also with there blue coloring. It may have been the lighting. I could only get this angle due to vegetation and the water. I agree the females in my yard have more color.

This is a beautiful capture with lovely details.
I'm curious as to its payload. Assume it's nest building but a strange tangle of sticks.
Is it just that?

Looks like it's moving house. :-P

This Osprey has a load of nest building material. They already have a nest, but this Osprey is adding to the nest.

Thanks, Richard. I have to travel for these though we had a couple of wayward specimens at the house last fall.

This is spectacular. The soft motion, the tack sharp stop motion, the bokeh. You nailed it.

These are beautiful Mark
Is there anything that takes to the air you can't nail? Really nice details and pose
Enjoy your new toy :-)

White-tailed eagle.

Magnificent sight.
You've captured this showing the approach they take and the focus in the face so beautifully.
Interesting and beautiful
