Great collection. I like the Cormorant's interaction best. Were they fighting over the perch?

Went shoreline birding in Cedar Key, Florida today.

They are fast buggers, that's for sure! I'm able to do much better with my 300 on APS-C than my 600 on APS-C with regards to close range in-flight on smaller birds like this.

I went to the countryside today. The Swallows are already leaving, not many left. I did manage to shoot a few and this was my favourite. The low sun was at 2 o'clock here, and with the bird turning it was mostly backlit, not exactly what you want but he was pretty close and it turned out fairly decent. I just realised I forgot to reduce noise. :rolleyes:
