Wonderful action shots.
These sure show nature working out and in high detail.

Very nice capture. You'll have to fill me in please. Bin Chicken.

Probably the most maligned Australian Bird, also known as the "dump chook", "trash vulture", "Bankstown bin diver", "garbage flier", "winged waste lizard", "refuse raptor", "dreg-beaked scrap fowl", "detritus drake", "bottom-feeder biddy" or "tip turkey", the Australian Ibis gets a pretty bad rap.

They don't want to eat out of bins. But after being forced out of their natural habitat due to our 'humanization' of their natural habitat, the Ibis has been forced to become dependent on our food waste.

Quite sad really.

Right. Yes is sad.
Thanks
Our native hens, though nothing like the Ibis also gets maligned.

I just had too much lens for how close this happened to me and couldn't keep the whole bird in the frame. Since I started using the much smaller and lighter Sony, I am not so used to wielding the giant Canon with a 500 on it anymore

Even if you didn't get the entire bird in the frame, it's still a super nice shot.

Agreed with Mike. I don't have to see the whole bierd every time.

Don't pixel peep on this one. An impossible distance, huge crop, and a dinky little sensor.
We were ahead of schedule for the ferry to NL, diverted to Bras d'Or Lake, saw a sign with
binoculars and eagles depicted. What the heck...and found this one-
