Great action shot.

Well that counters my other comment where I was amazed at the way these large birds land in difficult situations. Not always the case

Nice and sharp. I find Killdeer to be one of the more challenging birds for BIF shots for me, got fewer keepers than others.

Thank you very much Shalu. They certainly are challenging BIF's. If I come upon their nest, one of them will usually do the broken wing act, while the other will often times make nice flight circles around me. I make it a point not to stay for more than just a few minutes at their nest sites. I want to allow them to return to the eggs as soon as possible.
