Thank you, I have run into him a lot over the years, in BDA, LaJolla,Lake Hodges and he has spent some time here this past year where I shoot the most, Gilbert water ranch in Gilbert AZ.

I subscribe to his blog, and it's fun to read at times. I saw him, and got to briefly chat with him here in Fresno, where I live. I was kinda surprised when he dropped Canon like a hot potato, and went to Nikon, but I've read that he had good reason to do that.

Yeah, he was here in AZ right before his workshop in La Jolla and he switched a couple days later. He has the money to do it and some systems work better for some than others. I've talked to him when he came back here and seems mostly happy with the switch.

Great shot, Shalu. It looks like he caught a small striper.

Thank you, Mike! Its kids are now grown up and gone, so my bald eagle season is over for now. Hopefully they come back again for next breeding season.

Happy to get a view of a red-tailed hawk below eye level today, since I usually get the belly shots.

Lovely red tail shots. It so nice to see the entire red tail from the angle you had above the bird. Very well done.

Kestrel coming into land. Taken on Portland Bill in Dorset, UK.

This is amazing. Beautiful colours, action and capture.

I am astonished each time I see these giants of the air gracefully swoop by, their sheer size suggests a bending of the rules of flight.:-)

Cheers

Wonderful in flight shot of the little blue heron, Mike. I like the very nice background, and the sharpness of the bird (not an easy shot to make).
