Every year I get one pair of Ruby Throated here.. So the opportunity's are slim to none.

I only have two pair of “resident” hummers during the season but when migration begins there's a steady stream of birds at the feeders. I mix the sugar water a gallon at a time and go through two gallons a week. It gets to be a little like work keeping the feeders cleaned and filled.

Wonderful image, perfectly capturing the essence of that magical place. We have only visited one time and probably won't return, but we will never forget the experience of photographing at "The Bosque". Thanks for posting this, have you thought of printing this on canvas? A wall hanger for sure.

Thank you for the kind words. Yes, I have thought about printing this photo in the near future. Canvas would be a great choice.
