That is a stunning shot, Shalu. However I disagree with the kung-fu that you feel the snowy egrets are engaged in. I believe it is Shotokan karate, due to the foot and wing positions of the two egrets. I've studied this among various bird species. :-P ;-)a  LOL.

Thank you very much, Mike! I defer to your martial arts knowledge ;-)a:-P:lol: :p

Awesome shot of this very elusive bird, Mike.

I am pleased with your very kind compliment Melissa. Thank you for looking and commenting.

Oh my goodness, Shalu. Those two shots blow me away!! How in the world does that bird manage to get those lunkers air-born? Excellent job of shooting.

Sidknee...I am totally confused here. I see the post where I said that about your shot, but I can't see where I said that about my own post. If I did that, it's because I completely screwed up. But I've looked and looked, and can't find where I posted that about myself.  ?

Edit: If that "Excellent! :)" is meant for me then thanks, it appeared in between me seeing your post and my reply so it appeared in the reply but wasn't showing in your post above it. Confused me for a sec until I refreshed the page. :)

Yes it was. :)

All hummingbirds, all the time... I'll be sick of them before they leave and then wish they were back a few weeks later. :-)
