These are spectacular shots, Shalu. You are definitely catching them during the "sweet light."

Thank you very much for the nice compliments, Mike! The only time to catch them is either no light or sweet light, as they don't fly during strong light lol.:-P:lol:

And I cant cope with all these great barn owls shots!!.....Making me very envious :)

Thank you, clipper, I will try my best not posting too many of these going forward. :-P:lol:

gorgeous. you must have light to spare.
Really enhances the fine details and colours of the owl.
Its like a hang glider or parachute descending onto the shrubbery.
A sight to behold.

Thank you very much for the beautiful words, Richard!

Very nicely done shot, Robert. There's just something about that Nikon D500...it surely works well.

Mike thank you again. You probably know I'm very new to Nikon. I think the D500 is very forgiving. The 500PF doesn't hurt me.

Here's remembering Conowingo. This will be the first year in many we're not attending :( Poof decided she wanted something new and about 5 weeks
we're to head to Bosque-Apache. Hoping there will be something there to shoot :)
