At the Sungei Buloh Wetland reserve we get both migratory birds and residential birds of all kinds in the protected area. Here is a local egret flying past our hide.

Pag...I'm more in the middle of the state between the two major fires. It's the smoke that's a problem here. We are getting it day after day with no relief. Zero wind to blow it out. I sure do feel bad for the huge number of people that have lost everything in those fires (8,800 structures destroyed so far, 50 people have died).

Thanks! If you visit was timed right, you really get a wide variety of migratory species of birds. Its good fun especially the park has purpose built hides in best position for bird watching.
