i have more than a few, and quite frankly, i'm blind up close,
i have tried to keep using them but it's become a losing battle. just missing focus on a regular basis.
so i have just about decide to sell them all.
is there a web site anywhere (but e-bay) that can give a approx. value to these lens, just so i'm not giving them away, and not hosing someone who doesn't know any better either.

also there was a site that listed manufactor of vivitar lens by serial #, if anyone has that i would be indebted. thanks

I would check out Keh.com. They sell a lot of used stuff and should give you a ball park price. I have found their prices a little higher than what I can find else where, but it should give you an idea.

What do you have? I may be interested. Looking for a decent prime lens ~85mm and up. I already have a 135mm though.

You could also look here:

A few Pentax Takumars in M42 are listed. I'd also suggest hitting up the mflenses.com (external link) and manualfocus.org (external link) fora. And you can always search the fredmiranda Buy & Sell section (external link).

KEH, B&H, and Adorama's used prices are good, but are going to be a little higher than you might be able to ask for, since they have return policies and a good reputation for accurate grading and descriptions.

just stuff i bought off ebay and and garage sales over the last 10 years or so.
will look them up and see if it's worth listing them.

Why not share and tell us what all you have? Or just send me a PM. I can give you an estimate of what they are worth.

pm sent. thanks.
i don't want to upset anyone by posting all the lens since this isn't the for sale forum.
once i get a rough price idea i will put them on the sale board.
really bummed out as i have misplaced about 8 different lens, one was a 85 1.4 that was a fun lens.

I would love a CC of that list. It's not going to upset anyone if you've been asked by multiple members just for the lenses, not even a price.
