Hey All,
I wanted to share with you what I found yesterday. Dell has all of their DSLR cameras at 15% off, plus there is a coupon for $60 off a $500 or more electronics purchase. I picked up an XT for $790 yesterday!

Dell Site:
http://accessories.us.dell.com …en&cs=19&category_id=6057 (external link)

Coupon Code: $60 off $500 WLXLWHLFVZPF08

With out without kit lens? buydig.com has their regular price is $825 shipped with kit. Seems like you didn't get much of a deal. You always have to look at the price they are discounting. A 15% off a high price may still be a high price.

The 17-40 F/4 L is only $680 but the $60 coupon doesn't seem to apply there. I tried to add that coupon but it wouldn't reduce the price more.
Where do you get those coupons anyway?

It came with the 18-55 lens, does that not qualify as a lens Kit? I've been surfing around the net for 2 weeks and this a very good price for what I got, camera body with the standard or basic lens.

I looked around again.....

BuyDig.com $841 shipped....
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT with EF-S 18-55mm Kit (Black) - EOS 350D (external link)

Dell $849 before $60.00 coupon discount and $1.50 for shipping
EOS Digital Rebel XT SLR Camera with 18-55 mm Lens - Black (external link)

Seems like I got the best price of the two.
