Pixma Pro 9000 Mk II CD Printing

I found the software on the UK website, and the cd tray on ebay. But before I buy them, can anyone comment on the quality of the prints and the software?

Also, are there any issues with unlocking this feature for US printers (Other than warranty issues..)? Does it effect any other function of the printer?

My Pro9500 MK I printer came with the CD tray, and the software (I live in India). I have printed extensively on Verbatim DataLifePlus White Inkjet CR-Rs (B&H # VECDRIWH50) and have found the print quality to be excellent. Text and graphics isn't sharp as printing on paper, but definitely very close to quality on commercials discs.

The software is pretty basic, especially when it comes to text manipulation.

Thank you for the info, I'll have a look at those discs. I've been printing on an epson r260 and I love it, but that's all I use the epson for. This will let me consolidate my printers down to two..
