I came across this photo that I took of my wife's dog back in 2009 again and decided to run it through Photoshop a little.

A little history. Frankie (the dog) is named after the Catholic nun (Sister Francis) who found her and her 5 week old abandoned littermates on the side of the road in December of 2002 while on a hospice visit. She picked the puppies up from the side of the road, brought them back to the hospital's data center where I worked at the time and my wife adopted one. 6 weeks later Frankie came down with parvo and was able to pull through. Many dollars and years later we have a dog that we consider family and is WAY too smart for her/our own good.

I know that selective coloring is used a lot, but since she's black and white already I think it helps her eyes stand out a little more.

Great shot of Frankie, you hit the mark on highlighting her eyes
