Hey guys.

Ok since i'm not too experienced in the flash department i'm not so sure if it's something i'm doing wrong or if the flash is actually damaged.

Here's the issue. When i'm taking shots using the flash ETTL mode i get about two shots with perfect light and from there on the flash jumps to TTL mode and gives out a massive burst of light which causes my images to come out very over exposed.

What's going on here? When it jumps to TTL i can't seem to get it back to ETTL, at the moment i'm stuck using manual mode.

Help =[

What shutter speeds are you using?

This is a classic symptom of a bad hotshoe connection. Maybe dirty contacts or the camera hotshoe is loose.

Or the flash was not fully locked in place?

Great news. Sometimes we get too close to a problem to see the cure. It will not be too long before I am looking for help with something too. That is what makes this place so great.
