I was asked to take these photos for a sorority on campus. These are all group shots of the executive board. I will post the individuals in another thread. All images were lit with an alienbee 800 (with different modifiers) and taken with the 24-70. Image 3 was taken with a 10-22 mm. C&C welcome.

If I had to guess, I would say #3, #4, #5 and #6 were taken with a wide angle lens. There is barrel distortion centre frame (most noticeable with horizontal lines), and visible distortion at the edges, which adds weight to the subjects. Should be easily fixable.

Another suggestion would be to clone the middle woman's jeans in #4.

Some light fall off in #1, but more noticeable in #2. Shouldn't be difficult to light it up and bring balance to that side of the frame.

I realise you've mentioned the logo, but did you mean #4 and #6 specifically? The white text is clashing in these.

Nitpicks aside, I think these are great shots - all of the expressions are natural.

#4 is excellent work. Great job!

To remove a good chunk of barrel distortion, use the built-in lens profile for the 24-70 in Lightroom 3. I've used it for my last few portraits and it does an amazing job restoring proportions.

Their faces looks really blotchy in some of the pictures? Did you smooth the faces in Photoshop?

I appreciate the nit picking. It's how you learn. #1 there is some light fall off. I only have 1 light which makes it difficult sometimes. I tried to brighten the right side as much as possible without it being noticeable.

I was referring to the logo on all of them. I usually don't put my logo on images to share here

Do you know if you can download presets for regular photoshop?

The first two have some skin processing

I have no idea if there is a preset for photoshop. Although, you could try using the Lens Correction tool (it's somewhere in the effects menu). The problem is that you'll need to end up cropping the photo because of the lens correction (at least in CS3 anyhow). LR3 actually re-samples the image and stretches/compresses pixels as needed.
