Wow - loving the last two.

Sadly, something I don't think I'll ever get to experience.

Thank you for sharing.

Very nice series, Mike! Don't think the conditions could have been any better for a day launch.

Two more left. April and June (I think).

Thanks everyone. It was real nerve-wracking towards the end there, talk about suspense. It's hard to believe they pulled it out with two seconds left in the launch window. Of course, no one around me seemed to notice there was a problem and wouldn't quiet down to hear the loudspeakers. In fact, a guy nearby decided to propose while all that was going down... What if the thing had been scrubbed?

There are two flights remaining: Endeavor in April, which will be spectacular if that time holds, and Atlantis in June at the earliest.

I was using an adapted lens, and as a result the focal length and aperture were not recorded. The settings were:

600mm (300 + 2x)
f/11
1/400
ISO200

Some moderate cropping was done in post. This was tripod mounted and remote triggered for the initial shots. Once into the roll program, I unlocked the tripod head and tracked by hand.
