looks like he noticed you noticed him... ;)

nice setting for the shot.

the image could use a touch of levels adjusting though........ to bring out the color and details a bit more.

Great shot and profile of the buck. How would he look cropped out?

I don't know the English species name of the deer I took this photo of but the Latin nameis (Cervus elaphus)
Be patient, I've been out so much to meet a buck like this, but allthough you meet them it is very difficult to get a decent photo. ( they are shy, often in dark areas, far away, trees, boring background etc).

I'm not a PhotoShopper, but can you show me what you can achieve by the levels thing?

I took this photo because of the natural surrounding the buck was in. When cropping you have a just a buck, that could be taken in a park or zoo.
Toninght I will post the buck cropped.

Nice shot! You only got one of him?
In PS, goto Layers> Adjustment layer / Levels. You could goto Image> Levels, but that change would be permanent.

You have more pictures of deer than I have seen in my life! Nice capture!

The gray shading of your picture means it is underexposed. Levels (and curves) adjust
the histogram to use more of the light spectrum.
