1 square meter white vinyl
L-like Sigma 150-500 :D

How about transparent vinyl? An "L ring protector" to go with your "LCD protector"?

I feel the need for some more popcorn ...

Pretty cool, if I have no local sign shops, any idea of a good online retailer/source?

I'm really shooting for a purple-ringed SMC Takumar 50/1.4.

Every online retailer I know sells sign vinyl by the roll..might be a little more than you need to do a lens.

Shoot me a PM and we can work something out if need be.

This is awesome! I want to purple and pink up my lenses. Maybe make one a manly green for my SO to shoot with. That'll get him to stop complaining that I always stick him with the 70-200!

Really the only place that will have sign vinyl is a sign shop unless you want to order a whole roll.

You can try to get red pinstripe tape from an auto parts store or an auto body supply. You'll likely have to split it as its likely too wide.

Attention: KhanhD is now taking orders for custom vinyl ring stripes. $5 shipped (USPS). Send him dimensions.

(I should get 10% of the profit for pimping you out.)

i like the results but what i don't like is the "wanna bee" L lenses... but i really like how you could use it to distinguish between peoples lenses. like if someone borrows yours they don't get mixed up among others
