Just got my 5dii in the mail last night and decided to bring it along with me to work in case i had a moment to mess with it. These were taken within about 10-15 minutes just messing around with the 5dii and 17-40L , as well as the 85 1.8 for the very last shot. The quality is beyond amazing coming from a Rebel XSi, the full frame is FAWESOME!!

enjoy

That last photo is really cool. I have always liked that idea.

Was that a NA car that was turned into turbo? Any engine shots?

Thanks, yes it was. Started as an NA 5spd. Then it went single turbo. Then i blew up 2 5spds, and went with a v160 6spd. after that my brother blew up 2 motors in his, so i donated my motor to him and my father and I semi-built a new block with TT pistons and Eagle rods, as well as some acl race bearings and stuff, i also upgraded to a full 1000cc fuel delivery system with dual 8an feeds, and a nasty Borg Warner 88-75 turbo :)

the car is currently making 530rwhp at 18 psi on pump gas and I am waiting to make some money to get some race gas in her so we can try a 30-35psi run, im hoping for around 700rwhp with that. As far as the engine shots, i'll see what I can find, i didnt take any with the 5dii b/c the car was filthy (cant tell in the pics, but there is pollen EVERYWHERE)

here is a quick in-progress pic from photobucket:

and sadly that is the only pic i have of my engine bay.........I'll get some more as soon as I get it cleaned up
