NiZn aren't recommended for Canon flash units. The circuitry inside the flash blows up sooner or later. Many, many people on a pro photog forum i'm a member of tried them and blew up flashes.

After a couple of bursts, I wait & let things cool down a bit. No sense in getting carried away... well... unless... you know...
