I like it. A very minimalist view. A bit more light on the hair to get a bit of separation from the background would be nice though.

I agree that lighting on the hair to separate it from the background would be desirable. It might also be a little more striking if the pianist's right hand were extended just a bit to the right rather than being hidden by his body, as it is the hand and keyboard that are the essence of pianists. Very imaginative photo; I like it.

Thanks for all the feedback! Noticed the lighting on the hair when I pulled it up on my computer. Good call on the hand striking the keyboard. Perhaps a different angle could help that.

Photo was taken of me, by me. So it was a lot of trial and error getting the shot. I may have another go at it with these suggestions.
