Was thrilled to get these shots today. Usually these little guys are GONE as soon as they see a human, but this one kept popping out from behind the snowbank to check us out.

Congratulations on a couple of nice shots. Marten are not all that elusive, however; those that I've run across have been quite approachable. And with a little work, they can easily be hand fed.

Great captures Soren, they are cute little buggers. He looks quite inquisitive, yet shy by the way he's hiding behind the snowdrift. They are images you certainly don't see very often and you certainly got very lucky!
