7D and MP-E 65mm video (spider eyes)

Details of the eyes of a jumping spider above the silk were are their spiderlings, she has interesting fang movements too, but figured out the real purpose of she using the fangs in the eggs.

Out of interest though what were you using for a lighting setup in this video? I've been considering doing video with the MPE lens, but finding advice on a constant good lighting source that can be used for such is proving tricky.


Tools of the trade: Canon 400D, Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS, Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 24-70mm f2.4, Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, Raynox DCR 250, loads of teleconverters and a flashy thingy too

This is high iso in shadow (iso about 1000 to 1600) MP-E @ 2x and f/7.1 or near this :cool:
