Did I buy the wrong hotshoe adapter?

Hey guys I have a Canon 430 EXII and Nikon SB600 flash that I want to adapt for PC-Sync to use with cybersyncs.

I picked this up:

But it doesn't seem to work - did I grab the wrong one?

That one should work as long as you have the PC to 1/8" plug sync cord.
I personally like and use this one.

I like that it has the cord built in and I do not have to worry about the lack of a good connection that is inherent with the PC connection.
