I really like the lighting & setup on these lens shots. Any tips to recreate a shot like this?

Strip light, up close to the subject.

Strip light size and shape permits the highlight along the length of the lens.
'Up close' means that the lighting contrast is greater on the highlights vs. shadow areas.

Thanks.

What type of background?

I have a 5in1 reflector that has a black side to it...would that be fine?

I would rather emphasize barn doors as opposed to a strip light, as the spill from a strip light will be much larger than from barn doors.

Small to medium softbox.....
Black velvet as background.....
Expose and process for the highlights.....
Burn in any remaining shadow details as you see fit to taste.....
