First Timer RAW/PP

First time shooting RAW and frist time attempting to PP. Using Lightroom3 on a non calibrated laptop. Just a random shot. I had to shoot something so I could try this out. :D

Feedack would very much be appreciated. Trying to see if I am in the ballpark or not.

I'd say you did good on bringing out highlight and shadow detail, which is the tough part about daylight shooting where Raw can shine. You definitely boosted the saturation, a matter of taste -- if it works for you and especially if it communicates your "vision" of the scene, way to go!

By the way, since you are just getting started in this Raw business, I'd really encourage you to install the Canon Raw software Digital Photo Professional (DPP) and use it as a cross-reference to your work in Lightroom. If you have the disk, you can easily upgrade it from the Canon site. If you don't have the disk, check this site for a workaround:
