Looking to choose between a yn468 and a nissin di622 - any specific differences that would be of concern for portrait shots (indoor and outdoor along with photos of bands)?

Which is the best if I want to go wireless? I know YN has the inexpensive triggers - but coudlnt really find any info on the nissin di622 to be wireless with a t2i (550d) camera.

Im looking to go the most inexpensive route but also a route with good lifespan (read about yn468 not lasting long and hard time getting them replaced for warranty).

Let me know your thoughts! thanks everyone!!!!

Both flashes will require some sort of trigger to work with your camera wirelessly. Bulid quality seems to lean toward the nissin. Although I have to say if you can get the 430ex used it might be a better option than either of the above.

Not true. Both of these flashes have an optical slave mode. They can be triggered just using the built-in flash of your camera.

Not true. Both of these flashes have an optical slave mode for manual flash. They can be triggered just using the built-in flash of your camera.

I guess if you dont mind mixing auto flash on your camera with manual flash remotely this would be true, but its a poor solution.
