first thing to say im a beginner so i need advice on how to get this rite. Im gonna shoot my wifes scoot in the studio today. I have a seamless black paper background and for the rest of the gear please check my signature.
I need advice / ideas on how to position both the bike and lights to get satisfactory results. I was thinking dead on from the sides and front and dead on with the bike at a 45 deg (horizontal) angle with the wheel turned. Am i making a mistake by wanting them all dead on from the bikes perspective, or should i do a few from a higher perspective?
I also need advice on positioning the strobes and speedlight. I was thinking the typical beginner camera left and camera right with the strobes and have the speedlight against the backdrop for seperation and gradient. Should the strobes be dead on or high up and tilted down. I noticed most shoots i see the lights are always high up in the air and facing down. Why is that?
Thank you for assisting. If i get any good ones i will post them here.

. untill then i will study your link more closely.
