This weekend I headed down to a Fishing town south of where I live for an evening shoot. This HDR of 4 exposures ranging from 4sec through to 30sec was taken just after sunset.

7D, 17-70mm/ f/16

I know my PP needs some work, but CC very much appreciated - if you spend the time to look, please spend the time to post something.

There's some kind of odd artifact in the centre of the sun. If you look at the water reflection from the light sunstar there's some odd almost posturization-like effects going on.

I think overall you could deepen the black levels; more in the sky than below though.

Otherwise it's not a bad photo considering you had to deal with the boats moving around and clouds too I would suppose. Nice job.

Agree with above, tone the neons down a little as they distract my eye and it's a fantastic scene. Good work

Thanks for the feedback all and to you MrGreen.

Now when you describe "There's some kind of odd artifact in the centre of the sun." are you referring to the the light that appears through the boats? This is actually a light either on, or most likely behind the boats. When I too this image the sun had gone down about 15min earlier. I do agree that something odd is happening in the middle of that light though - needs cloning out/fixing up.

I'll give the image a tweek soon and repost, perhaps with better results as I improve my technique over the next few days.
