Hello

I just had quick question, hopefully you guys can help me out. I just bought my first DSLR (600d) this past weekend. I shot all my pictures in RAW this past weekend and it seems the update to Camera Raw in Photoshop doesnt suppoer the 600D yet, which means I cant open them yet to edit. My question is, how often do they have an update? My afraid guess is Adobe will have an update long from now. Any details would help out.

Thanks in advance, i love the forums, seriously great content on here and another  for this being my first post!

Use DPP that came with your camera and save them as tiff, then open in Photoshop, Adobe will update soon to cover your camera and any new cameras that come out at the same time.

Are you using CS5 or an earlier version of Photoshop? If an earlier version, you will never be able to open your 600D raw files in ACR and another option is to convert the CR2 files to Adobe DNG format.

Roughly, every three months. The updates to LR and ACR are released at the same time or within a day or two and I see my last LR (LR3.3) installation was Dec. 7, 2010 - so I predict there will be an update in a week to 2 weeks.
