Hi, I need to copy some PS actions which I have created in a PC to my laptop. In which PS folder can I find the action files? Thanks!

Put your acions on the L/Top desk top, open PS open actions tab, click on the little arrow top right of action tab, drop down box, go to import click and pick desktop, select your action click ok, and repeat for other actions. Sounds alot but a 30 sec' job..:-)

And, it's a good idea to save your created actions to a different folder outside of the default program location. Make a backup of this directory so when you have a computer failure, the reinstall will be easier.

You will need to save your actions first if you haven't already. After that, just go to the folder where you saved them.

Well, I did not save the actions to my desktop. The question is in which folder in the PS directory can I find the action files?

Actions are saved with .atn extension, so you could do a search for the extension to find the folder.

However, actions you have created are stored inside PS until you have actually saved them to a file. Also, afaik you can't save individual actions, only the group. If you haven't already - highlight the Group, click on the little triangle at the top of the panel, select Save Actions, and choose where you want to save them to.

I am using Win7 and the default actions are found in c:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Presets\Actions\. As was mentioned here you should create your own folder and copy them there. You can load them into Photoshop by simply double clicking them from your file manager.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
