Feb 28, 2011 18:24 | #1 I finally got a chance to take my new 500mm on the road and get some shots. Lots to learn on this new lens. The sweet spot is definitely smaller than f5.0. I think a higher ISO and higher aperture would result in sharper images. And closer too. Anyways some eagle shots for your C&C. Thx for looking!     Chris

There are plenty in my area including a nesting pair with youngsters. Very hard to photograph here so am jealous of anyone who gets such great shots of these birds.
