The BNSF San Jac Local, which travels from Riverside to Perris (California), climbs the steep grade in the Box Springs section of Riverside. In the background is the San Gabriel Mountain range. Catching the San Jac is always a challenge as you never know when it's going to run up or down the canyon. Click on the image to access the full size image on Flickr.
