Tethered Shooting with G2

Anyone know if you can tether shoots a G2? (Ancient, I know)

If so, what software do I need?

Tethered to what? A Win PC, a Mac, an Android, ...?

You could go to the Canon support site and try to find the software download for the nearest G-model. (unfortunately for my G9, Canon only provides a download for an 'update package' and I must have the CDs that came with the camera -- still worth a try).

Several freely available image viewing programs do support 'image capture' from a USB linked camera. You may not get access to camera settings however.

There is a commercially available program.... Breeze__something I think, is similar to what you want.

If you have Windows XP, breeze systems offers a program (PS Remote) that will work with your G2. Read carefully to be sure I am correct.

Thanks for the replies. As to tethered to what, PC or Mac. The software that came with the camera does not allow for tethered shooting.

I will check out Breeze.
