Looks like solid stuff. Digging the removable center column.

Also digging the new ballheads with the 90 degree positioner. Increased load capacity and decreased weight Nice!

Yes, they will be, the thread is the same and the screws will still work. These tripod should work with pretty much any heads and these heads will work for pretty much any legs, regardless of brand, as long as the thread size is correct.

The 057 could easily replace my 055. I like the geared center column.

New ballheads looks good as well.

Well i haven't seen any prices for it in europe (UK/sweden) but i doubt it will cost as much as a gitzo setup with centered column.

Im short.

Im used to geared column on my 058 Triaut studio tripod and i would really like to have the option to have it on my location setup, which at the moment consist of a 055 (alu) and a 410 geared head.

Thanx!

Regards
Paul L.

Well im below 170cm so im considered short lol

I don't understand the question, what do you mean by lower the legs on the 055.

The shorter version of the 057 with a geared column is what im interested in.

i mean the 055 with the head is tall for a man 170cm ,isn't
i mean 055xprob and head , to have my eye in the viewfinder i have to lower the tripod , using the legs clips

A pocket tripod - Ingenious or Oxymoron, you got to love it. What a brilliant idea!!

A little dissapointed no Cobalt in there. Not that I need one, having the 055XPROB. But I would prefer it to Aluminium. I know Induro offer it in their range.

gah, just my luck. I new Slik 634 just shipped. I suppose there's still room for a new table top tripod though...
