Another fun day afield with some feathered friends.... oh yes, and with my buddy Joe. These are images shot today at Cranberry Marsh and Lynde Shores.

1. Meet Stubby from Cranberry Marsh

I believe the large flock of Common Redpolls that I had here for several days have now gone. In celebration of the time they spent here, I will post a couple of images taken the last day I saw them.

Love the shots, Harvey. #5 is my favorite. The motion blur in the wings makes it for me. Being 1/1600, that bird must have been flying (no pun intended).

Great shots Harvey, I wonder if stubby got its tail frozen on something recently . All of these are perfect .

Thank you very much. The backgrounds are all as shot. We try to maneuver to achieve backgrounds like that. It does not always work.
