Sorry i'm not hijacking this thread but here's a cool surf shot of my friend I got yesterday. I think it came out cool atleast.
My first time trying out my 100-300mm lense.

My action shots didn't come out that good, my friends arent pro's at surfing and the waves suuucked!

Hey Patrick how was the weekend surf event at HB?

I hit the waves at 32nd street today - it was great - crumbly but not small waves and little wind... not to mention warm and sunny! On the spur of the moment my bro came along and shot some pics of me off the jetty but all he had with him was a 24-105, the tide was low and I was WAY out there most of the time... but here are a couple pics that he shot on my FB page if you care: https://www.facebook.c​om …id=635699038&l=​84b9d23626 - Super fun session!!
